Race 1 of the 2023 Virtual Race for Heroes to benefit Operation Motorsport at Sebring on Sunday was not without some adventure, but the team came out 3 positions up from where it started, qualifying the car on the second row of the RSR class for Race 2 at Le Mans on August 27th. Not a bad 4-hour’s work at all!
There’s still time to contribute to help meet the team goal of $2,500 and the overall organization goal of $25,000 to benefit Operation Motorsport, so be sure to share with your friends. This campaign page will remain up until the end of Race 2 on August 27th, and we still have a lot of work to do to meet our goals.
For the 6-Hour Feature Benefit race on August 27th, Chip Witt will be joined by co-drivers Jeff Williams and Volker Krebs.
Also of note, even if you were unable to run in the qualifying race at Sebring, you can still register a car for the sim racing Benefit Feature on August 27th. You will be placed on-grid in the order you sign up, and behind everyone that already qualified for a grid position by running Sunday. Check-out the event page at PCA Sim Racing for more information.
