Race 2 of the 2023 Virtual Race for Heroes to benefit Operation Motorsport was on August 27th at Le Mans on iRacing. For the 6-Hour Feature Benefit race, Jeff Williams, Rob Cottle, Volker Krebs, and Chip Witt started on the second row in the RSR class for Schadenfreude Fodder.
The team finished 5th in class, but most importantly, raised $1,005 against their goal of $2,500 and the overall organization goal of $25,000; not quite 50% of our goal, but we were proud of our efforts and our community in raising what we could before and throughout the race.
